Children invited to the library to read to a pooch
Children age 5 to 10 years old are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Friday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. to read to Kippy, the Dachshund. Kippy is a Certified Therapy dog. Kippy helps kids improve their literacy skills by listening to kids read their favorite stories.
Children age 5 to 10 years old are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Friday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. to read to Kippy, the Dachshund. Kippy is a Certified Therapy dog. Kippy helps kids improve their literacy skills by listening to kids read their favorite stories. Reading sessions last about 10 to 15 minutes. Children may bring their own favorite book from home, or choose one at the library. There is no charge for the program, and no registration is required.
