Doreen A. Erickson, "Weenie," Oct. 29, 1965 - Jan. 30, 2013, of Hastings, formerly from SSP.

After a 22-month most courageous and determined battle with cancer, Doreen was welcomed into heaven by parents Betty and Joe Erickson and step-son Danny Knak.

We will forever be sharing the constant humor and continuous memories she leaves with us: her fiancée and love, Dan Knak; siblings: "SIS," Cindy Olmschenk (Dennis); Joe and Dian; Jerry; Bill Erickson; nephews Lee, Daniel, Bill, Timothy, David, Jesse, Matt; nieces Christy, Dahni Jo, Nicole; godchild Riley; 13 great-nieces/nephews; Dan's family and mother, Lucille Cullen; Special Angels always on call, MK and Missy; and her girls from both borders.

Memorial service was 12 noon Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Kandt & Tetrick Funeral Home, 140 8th Ave. N., SSP. Family greeted friends 10 a.m. to noon. Luncheon followed at the VFW, SSP. Private interment at Morningside.
