Kathalena Scott, 57

Kathalena Hope Scott, age 57, of Hastings, passed away at home Jan. 31.

She was born in Minneapolis to Adelbert and Lillian Rodewald on Dec. 2, 1955. Kathalena married Charles Scott on Sept. 1, 1979, in New Brighton at the Covenant Church. She was a born-again Christian who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and touched many people through her love and beautiful song.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Brogan; and brother Burt Rodewald.

Kathalena is survived by her husband, Charles Scott; children, Kristina Scott, Joshua (Heather) Scott, and Phillip Scott; grandchildren, Hailey and Avery; siblings Faith (Lennard) Stoeklen, Michael (Judy) Rodewald, Peter (Lorraine) Rodewald, Timothy Rodewald, Joyce (Ronald) Krebs, Douglas (Diane) Rodewald, David (Linda) Rodewald, Ruth (Ted) Bramhall, Cyndie (Don) Jeter; sister-in-law, Leona Rodewald; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Cornerstone Bible Church, 735 E. Tenth St., Hastings, MN 55033. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at church. Memorials preferred.
