Squire House Gardens ‘Houseplant Clinic’

The Squire House Gardens will hold a “houseplant clinic” on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at 3390 St. Croix Trail S. in Afton.

Are your houseplants looking like they have the winter blues, too? The cold months can be agony for indoor plants.

Martin Stern, a local plant expert and owner of Squire House Gardens, will share tips on feeding, watering and care to keep your plants healthy and happy until spring. Guests are also invited to bring a houseplant for diagnosis, “As long as the plant is transported through the elements very carefully,” said Stern. The clinic is held in as part of Squire House Garden’s “Indoor Gardening Weekend,” Jan. 25-27, featuring special selections and prices on indoor plants and complimentary tea and treats.
