Booked man is charged with possession
A 29-year-old Crystal man, Roosevelt Dewayne Rogers, faces a charge of a controlled substance crime in the fifth degree (possession) after a Dakota County deputy at the Dakota County Jail in Hastings found suspected cocaine in a small bag in Rogers’ clothing.
A 29-year-old Crystal man, Roosevelt Dewayne Rogers, faces a charge of a controlled substance crime in the fifth degree (possession) after a Dakota County deputy at the Dakota County Jail in Hastings found suspected cocaine in a small bag in Rogers’ clothing. According to the criminal complaint, the deputy was in the intake area and Rogers was brought into the area to be searched as part of the booking process. When Rogers handed the deputy his jeans, the deputy found a small slit in the jeans. Inside the slit was a small bag containing a white powdery substance. The substance tested positive for cocaine.
