Every Saturday morning, improv comedy games are held

Black Dirt Theater in Hastings has a fun activity planned for every Saturday. From 10 a.m. until noon, the theater plays host to improvisational comedy games at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. No pre-registration is required for the event. “We work on the basics of improv every week because we always have people who are new to it,” said Libby Burkitt of Black Dirt Theater. “But we also get quite advanced in some of our play so that those of us who have been in it a while can still grow. Bottom line though is that it is just fun. We are playing and just having a good time.” Burkitt said that about a dozen people a week show up to the sessions.
