Elizabeth M. Fallon, 99

Elizabeth M. Fallon, age 99, of Hastings, passed away at Augustana Care Center on Dec. 11.

She was born in New York City, N.Y., on Sept. 4, 1913, to Alvin and Anna (Senger) Stone. Elizabeth worked for the New York Academy of Medicine as a secretary. She was an active member of the Regina Auxiliary, the Hastings Senior Center, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, the Hastings Concert Association, Friends of the Library, and the Hastings Breast Cancer Support Group.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judith A. Fallon; and niece Patricia Lyons.

Elizabeth is survived by nieces Audrey Reisman and Kathie Breault; nephew, A. Douglas Stone; many great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Doug Duin, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 W. 9th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers are A. Douglas Stone, Thomas Catania Jr., Michael Catania, and Christopher Catania. Memorials preferred to the church.
