Richard E. Meyer, age 85, of Hastings, formerly of St. Paul, passed away peacefully, after a long battle with PLS, on Nov. 22.
The funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Miesville. Interment, with military honors provided by the Ft. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad, will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings, and 1 hour prior to the service at church.
