AAUW is hosting a presentation

The Hastings Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be hosting a presentation on Monday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m. at St. Philips Church, corner of Pleasant Avenue and 15th Street. In recognition of the 40th anniversary of Title IX, Libby Sharrow, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota, will give the presentation titled “How American Politics Shaped Sex: Title IX, Gender and the Female Athlete.” Ms. Sharrow is an AAUW 2012 American Fellow. The AAUW business meeting begins at 7 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 7:30 pm. The presentation is free and open to the public.
