College hockey comes to Hastings Nov. 20

On Nov. 20, two Division III college hockey teams will face off on Hastings ice for the first time ever.

On Nov. 20, two Division III college hockey teams will face off on Hastings ice for the first time ever.

St. Mary’s University and The College of St. Scholastica are bringing their women’s hockey teams to the Hastings Civic Arena for the history-making game.

The game will feature Hastings native Jordy Klimek, a forward for the St. Scholastica Saints, and her sister Mackenzie Klimek, who plays defense for St. Mary’s Cardinals. Both sisters were captains on the Hastings Raiders varsity team.

The game starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20. The cost is $6 for adults. Youth attend free.
