Letter: In support of Mike Slavik
Mike Slavik is ready to hit the ground running for the residents of Dakota County District 1… well, as soon as he buys a new pair of shoes. This is because he has worn out two pair over the past few months knocking on every door in the district to find out what the residents want in their next County Commissioner.
To the editor,
Mike Slavik is ready to hit the ground running for the residents of Dakota County District 1… well, as soon as he buys a new pair of shoes. This is because he has worn out two pair over the past few months knocking on every door in the district to find out what the residents want in their next County Commissioner.
Mike brings a diverse background in the public and private sectors and has a proven record of being a strong financial steward of taxpayer dollars in very tough economic times. He is a very dedicated individual who takes the word service in public service to an extraordinary level. Even though he was born and raised in Hastings, he will do what is best for the entire area covered by District 1. As proven by his time on the Hastings City Council, Mike does not play favorites —he does what is right for the collective good.
I ask you to join me in supporting Mike Slavik for Dakota County Commissioner for District 1. Also, it is my request in an effort to maintain a strong local City Council, you again join me in supporting “The Tony’s” – Tony Alongi (ward 1) and Tony Nelson (ward 3) in their efforts towards re-election.
