Letter: In support of Mike Slavik

To the editor:

I first got to know Mike Slavik while serving together as adult leaders on Mission Mexico 2005 and since that time he has been a great friend. I have witnessed his leadership skills firsthand and can honestly tell you he has the qualities to make a fine county commissioner.

Mike is hardworking and works well with others, which are essential characteristics for elected officials. He has a willingness to take on new and difficult challenges and get results. He steps up and takes action when needed, but brings people into the discussion. Mike is a good listener and a person who will lead with honesty and integrity.

Mike will be a good addition to the county board and great for the future of Dakota County. On Election Day, I encourage everyone to vote Mike Slavik for Dakota County Commissioner.
