Suicide awareness walk is planned for Nov. 10

A tentative date has been set for a suicide awareness walk in Hastings.
As it stands now, the walk will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.
The event needs some stamps of approval before it can lock down the date, but event organizer Alyssa Stadtler said she should know soon.
The walk would start on the path near the American Legion. The cost is $10.
At the conclusion of the walk there will be speakers from the community.
In the meantime, there is a Facebook group started. It is Suicide Awareness Walk 2012.
