19-year-old Hastings man dies at college of cardiac arrest

A 19-year-old Hastings man, Jordan Astar, died at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Monday due to cardiac arrest.
Astar was a student at the college.
He died early Monday.
He is the son of David and Debbie Astar of Hastings.
According to his obituary, Jordan Astar "was a member of Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity and loved participating with the Black Dirt Theatre group and the Hastings High School Riverside group. Jordan enjoyed music, playing his guitar and movies."
An investigation into the death is open, according to police.
What caused the cardiac arrest is uncertain, according to family members.
