Mike Grady

I’d like to start with a short introduction. My name is Mike Grady, and I was born and raised in Roseville, MN. I have a degree in Media Arts and have been working in the technology support field for the last 16 years. My wife Erin and I have lived in Hastings for the past 9 years, and moved into Ward 1 just over three years ago. We have three beautiful children and a couple of wonderful dogs.

I know what I want in a City Council Member, but what is it you want? I know what I want in this person; 1) fiscal responsibility, 2) financial accountability, and 3) respecting people’s civil liberties. Also, I want someone that will stand up for what they believe in and fight for those beliefs.

I am not a Republican and I am not a Democrat, I am a Libertarian. That means I support freedom of individual choice, and less government involvement in our households and daily lives

A new set of ideas needs to come to the Hastings City Council. I believe that the budget can be balanced, our City should be financially accountable to the taxpayers, and we can still preserve our beautiful, historic City of Hastings, with less government involvement.
