Give to the Max Day is Nov. 15

Give to the Max Day is coming soon. The day, set for Nov. 15 this year, is an opportunity for Minnesotans to show their support for their favorite non-profit organizations and schools.

Give to the Max Day is a sort of charitable giving competition. Donors are asked to give to their favorite Minnesota charities within the 24-hour period. The three nonprofits that receive the most dollars on the day will be awarded an extra $12,500, $5,000 and $2,500 grant from givemn.org. Last year, more than 47,000 donors raised $13.4 million for nearly 4,000 Minnesota nonprofits. New for this year is the addition of K-12 public schools to the list of organizations that can benefit.
