Police report preview - Oct. 13 to Oct. 19

• Officers were asked to check the welfare of a person walking on the railroad tracks after making suicidal statements.

The call came in at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The statements were made on Facebook.

Dakota County deputies eventually found the man and turned him over to his parents. Dakota County crisis was called and they assisted.

• A resident made a suicidal statement to people close to him on Tuesday, Oct. 16. Officers attempted to call the man, who hung up on them.

Eventually officers found the man walking on a street. He was stopped and officers assisted with locating a friend to pick the man up. Dakota County crisis was called.

• Officers were called to the area of Ravenna Trail and LeDuc Drive on the report of people hunting within the city limits.

Officers made contact with three people. The three Woodbury residents were identified. Their shotguns and dead ducks were turned over to the Department of Natural Resources.
