Letter: In support of Janis Quinlan

To the editor,

While much of the political conversation today is centered on the presidential and vice-presidential debates because of the faltering economy, we can look here to Minnesota for contributing causes. The Tax Foundation’s recent business climate ratings rank Minnesota 45th, barely eking out California and New York for government tax policies adversely affecting the environment to start and grow small businesses.

Yet Governor Dayton and the DFL party continue to call for more spending and more taxes. State Senator Katie Sieben has routinely supported the governor and his partisan policies. If we want to change Minnesota to make it a robust place to start and grow businesses and subsequently generate more jobs and lower taxes for the rest of us, then it is time for a change.

Vote for Janis Quinlan for state senator. She understands small businesses and has the strength of character to stand up for us.
