Pre-Veterans’ Day concert will help a veteran
The public is invited to a free pre-Veterans’ Day event filled with music, inspiration, refreshments, and the opportunity to help a veteran. The concert will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury. In concert will be Chris Falteisek, Maureen McNeary Sieben and Sarah Sprinthall.

In concert will be Chris Falteisek, Maureen McNeary Sieben and Sarah Sprinthall.
Falteisek’s cousin, Spc. Daniel Drevnick, was killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom on July 17, 2009.
As a tribute to Dan and a fundraiser for the Daniel Drevnick Memorial Fund, Falteisek and friends will perform patriotic music and some of Falteisek’s personal compositions.
Vocalists will include recording artists Sarah Sprinthall and Maureen McNeary. Falteisek, Doug Sprinthall and Gary McAlpin will accompany the vocalists.
The Emerald Society of Minnesota (bagpipes); COL John Morris, State Chaplain for the Minnesota National Guard and Ken Drevnick, Dan's father, will all take part in this celebration.
The concert is free and open to the public. The performance will be approximately 90 minutes long.
A free will offering will be gathered to benefit the Daniel Drevnick Memorial Fund. The memorial fund honors military and law-enforcement heroes by awarding scholarships to veterans and their family members that are enrolled in a college law-enforcement program. For more information, visit ww

Dan is the grandson of Josephine Falteisek Drevnick, formerly of Trimbelle, Wis. His cousin, Chris Falteisek is the son of Frank and Sylvia Falteisek of Prescott, Wis.
