CITY OF HASTINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 206.83, that the

official test of the Accu-Vote optical scan voting system and the AutoMARK Ballot marking unit to be used for counting and marking ballots for the General Election on November 6, 2012 will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Hastings City Hall, 101 Fourth Street East, Hastings, Minnesota 55033-1955.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the test is open to representatives of the
political parties, candidates, the press, and the public.
