Tennis team picks up two SEC wins

The Hastings tennis team picked up two Suburban East Conference wins recently.

Hastings beat Cretin-Derham Hall, 5-2.

At first singles, Katie Suchmova won, 6-3, 6-4.

Hailey Lundquist fell at second singles in three sets.

Morgan Tjomsland won at third singles in straight sets.

Anna Foster lost at fourth singles, 6-2, 7-5.

The top doubles team of Annika Peterson and Jill Weinzettel won 6-0, 6-3.

The second doubles team of Maddie Carlson and Caitlyn Judge won in straight sets. The third doubles team of Sammy Dabruzzi and Abbie Williams won 6-2, 6-1.

Hastings also won over Park, cruising to a 7-0 victory.

Suchmova won 6-3, 6-4.

Maddie Carlson won 6-2, 6-1.

Foster won 6-0, 6-1.

Dabruzzi won 6-0, 6-1.

Lundquist and Tjomsland won at first doubles, 6-4, 6-4.

Weinzettel and Peterson won at second doubles, 6-1, 6-0.

Judge and Williams won at third doubles, 6-0, 6-0.
