Spring Fling grants presented to seven SEAS staff members

A “Spring Fling” at the end of April offered a catered dinner, fellowship, drawings, and the opportunity to raise additional funds for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and staff.
This year, the Spring Fling committee allocated $6,500 in grant monies. Those grants were presented last week to school staff.
The recipients are as follows:
Emily Chandler – Digital audio recorder (helps with classroom music and band). Students can instantly play back and evaluate their performance to improve their music.
Stacy Bauer – Smart Board–promotes interactive learning
Jodi Hoffman– Smart Board- promotes interactive learning
Eileen Perra and Jane Lynch- “Purely You” teaching kit. Faith-based puberty program covering physical development, but also looks at students taking care of themselves emotionally, spiritually and morally.
Clara Schultz – two-year subscription to “Brain Popping Fun” – animated interactive website that works with the Smart Board covering many curriculum subjects.
Anita Endres – Document camera for Smart Board– can be connected to projector to display items on Smart board– has ability to zoom in.
