Letter: High school teachers are an impressive group

An open letter to Mike Johnson, the principal at Hastings High School, and teachers,

I wanted to let you and your staff know how very impressed I was last night with your teachers. I love that they are genuine when they say they are here for the kids; you could tell they meant it. I debated about going at all, as I thought it was going to be boring and I can talk to the teachers at conferences. I got valuable information from every teacher that our daughter has. She has come home every day saying she had a good day. I saw the reason for that is not just the socialization with her friends, but she is very comfortable with the teachers as well. Thank you again for having the kids of this community best interest at heart. I am looking forward to this journey and again so appreciate the excitement that was instilled in me last night.
