Author Mary Janice Davidson will be at the library Oct. 8

The Pleasant Hill Library is thrilled to announce that Hastings’ very own New York Times bestselling author, Mary Janice Davidson, will be giving an author talk and book signing on Monday, Oct. 8 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in their meeting room.  Davidson has been credited with starting the very popular chick paranormal romance genre.  Her very popular vampire series, ‘Undead’, started when ‘Undead’ and ‘Unwed’ was released in 2004 and the latest in that series, ‘Undead’ and ‘Unstable’ just came out this year to continued raves from her fans.  She also has a number of other paranormal series including: ‘Fred the Mermaid Trilogy’ and the young adult series starring Jennifer Scales, ‘The Weredragon!’  All are welcome to attend the event, whether you are a longtime fan or just curious about how someone starts writing vampire romance! Come early to get a good seat and for chances to win door prizes.  There is no charge for the event, and no registration is required.
