Football team earns season's first win, 29-21, in overtime

The Hastings football team earned a thrilling come-from-behind win Friday night in Roseville, 29-21.

The Hastings football team earned a thrilling come-from-behind win Friday night in Roseville, 29-21.

Hastings trailed 21-7 going into the fourth quarter, then rallied for 14 unanswered points to tie the game and send it into overtime.

In overtime, the Raiders scored a touchdown and converted on a two-point conversion to go up 29-21. Hastings then stopped Roseville and earned the win.

Hastings has a 1-2 record on the season.

Hastings plays host to Cretin-Derham Hall on Friday night.
