Hannah graduated for military basic training
Private First Class Jordon Hannah has graduated from military basic training in Ft. Jackson South Carolina. During the six weeks of training, he studied the Army mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. In addition, Jordon was recognized for his achievements in physical training, which he was awarded accommodations. Army Private First Class Jordon is the son of Joe and Tiffany Hannah and grandson of Paris and Vicki Pasch.
Patzke enrolls at the U of Evansville
William Patzke of Hastings has enrolled at the University of Evansville in Indiana. Patzke is majoring in music and joins an entering class defined by its strong academic ability and diversity.Three students from Hastings have been selected as Falcon Scholars
Hastings students who have been selected this year as a Falcon Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Rivers Falls are Miles Erickson, Jenna Marier and Dylan Nelson.
The new Falcon Scholars program awards $1,000 scholarships that are renewable for up to four years. Students named Falcon Scholars also receive a $2,000 stipend that may be used for undergraduate research or to study abroad in their junior or senior year.
