Man with no warrants for his arrest lies to officers, gives them name of someone with a warrant

A suspicious vehicle was parked in front of Smead Manufacturing at 10:54 p.m. and officers made contact with the occupant.

A suspicious vehicle was parked in front of Smead Manufacturing at 10:54 p.m. and officers made contact with the occupant.

The man inside the vehicle gave officers the name and date-of-birth of his brother, who had a warrant out for his arrest. When the driver was put in handcuffs, he gave officers his real name. He had no warrants out for his arrest.

They ended up arresting the man for giving false information to a police officer.
