The Hastings football team lost its season opener on Thursday night to Mounds View, 40-6.
The Mustangs took a 20-0 lead into halftime and didn't look back. They added 20 more points in the third quarter.
Hastings scored its points in the fourth quarter on a five-yard touchdown run by Alex Wiese.
