Police report preview - Aug. 18 to Aug. 24

• An intoxicated male threw a large potted plant into the street during an argument in the 200 block of East Second Street. The call came in at 12:40 a.m.

Officers arrived and found the highly intoxicated man, who then argued with officers.

He had a blood-alcohol-content of .256.

He was transported to detox.

• An unoccupied residence in the 700 block of First Street was damaged inside and out. The area was checked.

While there, a call came in from the 100 block of Adams Street about a possible juvenile drinking party. When officers went there, they found several underage people there who were drinking and connected the two incidents. At least a few people ran from the scene. They were located later.

There were four juvenile males who were arrested for the criminal damage of property.

The case has been referred to the Dakota County Attorney’s Office.

• An intoxicated female was reportedly unable to care for herself in the 500 block of Westview Drive at 11:44 a.m.

The woman was transported to the detox facility with a blood-alcohol-content of .393.
