Letter: Make plans to attend alumni association banquet

To the editor,

Hastings traditions are deep rooted and steeped in history. For many years Hastings High School was and continues to be the center of much of the activities and culture of this community. Many of us are tied together through our classmates and our own class reunions as we continue to share memories from our years at HHS. However, there is another venue which allows for a more inclusive look at this history.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Hastings Country Club, the Hastings High School Alumni Association will hold its annual banquet and program. Having the honor of being the oldest active alumni association in the nation, anyone who graduated from Hastings High School is a member of this group and is invited to attend this event. The evening includes a social/cocktail hour, dinner/ dessert and a program following dinner. Please consider joining us on this date. We would love to share a trip down memory lane with all of you. Seating is limited so get your reservations early. Call Rita Truax Bremer at 651-437-3241.

Help us preserve another piece of Hastings’ history.
