The concert is part of this year’s summer outdoor concert series and will include music from the 1930s to the 1970s.

The Eric Thomas Trio plays a variety of musical styles. Members include Tom Erickson on trumpet, Janet Lynn on keyboard and Don Kaste on guitar. The band often plays for private parties and retirement centers in the Twin Cities. In addition, Erickson and Lynn play as a duet at the American Legion in North St. Paul every Friday evening.

At this Sunday’s concert, members of St. Philip’s Lutheran Church will sell pies, ice cream and beverages.

The final performing group on Aug. 26 is The Jolly Huntsmen, a polka band.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and guests are invited to arrive early to walk the grounds, enjoy the beautiful gardens on the historic site, or take a special guided house tour at 5:30 p.m. Regular rates apply to house tours.

Bring a chair or a blanket. The rain location is Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.

This year’s sponsors of the summer concerts are Hastings Concert Association, Thrivent Financial for Lutheran, Collins Wealth Management, Dakota Electric Association, Vermillion State Bank, Arlene and Dan Myers and financial representatives of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in Cottage Grove.
