Adults searching for a job are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Friday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m. for a free class teaching the art of writing a cover letter. Cover letters are an important piece of the job search puzzle.
Adults searching for a job are invited to the Pleasant Hill Library on Friday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m. for a free class teaching the art of writing a cover letter. Cover letters are an important piece of the job search puzzle. Topics covered include the differences between a mailed and an emailed letter or note, what you really need to include to get the employer’s attention, dos and don’ts and more. This class is taught by Dakota County WorkForce Center staff and will be held in the Meeting Room. Preregistration is required and begins two weeks prior to class.
