Letter: In Support of Tony Alongi for city council

To the editor,

Please join me in support for Anthony (Tony) Alongi in the Aug. 14 primary election for the Ward 1 City Council seat. I have worked with Tony on the city council for the last four years and I have been impressed by his level of commitment to Ward 1 residents and the City of Hastings. He makes the very tough decisions when it comes to how the City of Hastings spends your tax dollars.

Please take a few minutes out of your busy day on Tuesday, Aug. 14, and vote in the primary election. There may not be much on the primary ballot but it is still important to vote as Tony will be counting on your vote. Think of Ward 1 as being (almost) anything east of Highway 61 in the city limits. You will not be disappointed if you go with Tony on Tuesday.
