Yulga graduates from Drake University

Megan Yulga of Hastings graduated from Drake University at the conclusion of the 2012 spring semester with a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication in advertising-creative.

St. Catherine’s announces dean’s list

Students from Hastings named on the dean’s list for the winter 2012 semester are: Anna Gmiterko, a senior at St Kate’s who is a 2008 graduate of Hastings High School; Katrina Groshens, a junior at St. Kate’s who is a 2003 graduate of Hastings High School; Whitney Vought, a first year student who is a 2010 graduate of Hastings High School; Samantha Lucking, a senior at St. Kate’s who is a 2008 graduate of Hastings High School; Rita Madland, a senior at St. Kate’s; Nancy McCallum, a senior at St. Kate’s; and Nicole Groth, a junior at St. Kate’s who is from Vermillion.

Minnaert receives transfer scholarship from UND

Megan Minnaert of Hastings received the transfer scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2012-2013 academic year. Minnaert, the daughter of Mike and Kristi Minnaert, transferred from Minnesota State University-Moorhead and plans to attend UND in the fall.

Hermanson receives transfer scholarship
