Police report preview - July 19 to July 27

Here is a preview of this week's police report. The entire report can be found on Page 4A of this week's print edition.

• A highly intoxicated 14-year-old Hastings boy was found to be laying in a gutter on Westview Drive at 5:27 a.m. on Saturday, July 21.

The juvenile was cited for underage alcohol consumption and was released to his father.

• A man was found to be sleeping in the road near 17th and Spring streets at 4:02 a.m. A 78-year-old man was found to be highly intoxicated and was transported to detox.

• A woman called at 9:42 a.m. on July 26 from the 500 block of Westview Drive and asked to be transported to detox. She had a blood-alcohol-concentration of .36 and she was transported to detox.
