Dravet Syndrom Fundraiser at Dugarels Aug. 4

The first annual Dravet Syndrom Fundraiser, Cornhole for a Cure, will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m. at Dugarel’s in Hastings. There will be a beer bash, bean bag tournament, food, raffle and toy drive. Registration for the bean bag tournament begins at noon and is $40 per team.

Money raised will go to dravet.org, the foremost global patient advocate organization for giving support to families, saving the lives of children and promoting and funding medical research to find effective treatments and cures for Dravet syndrome and Dravet Spectrum Disorders. The event is being put on by Alex and Patty Dohman and Brian and Deb Loesch of Hastings and Brian and Amanda Meyers of Elma, Iowa.
