Ashley Milliren and Brendan Schatz announce their engagement. Ashley graduated in 2003 from Hastings High School. She earned her dental assisting degree in 2005.

Ashley graduated in 2003 from Hastings High School. She earned her dental assisting degree in 2005. She is currently employed by Miller Orthodontics in Hastings and West St. Paul. She is the daughter of Mark and Karen Milliren of Hastings.
Brendan graduated in 2000 from St. Paul Academy. He is pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Minnesota. He is the son of Jim and Lou Schatz of Patagonia, Ariz., formerly from Sunfish Lake. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 22, in Hastings.
