Letter: Tattered flags should be replaced
As I was driving around town last week, I saw flags that were torn and I also saw flags that were faded all over town.
To the editor,
As I was driving around town last week, I saw flags that were torn and I also saw flags that were faded all over town. I can’t help but feel sad when our young boys are coming home missing limbs and dying for our country and then to see flags that should not be hanging. I’d rather see no flags than one looking like it shouldn’t be there. Please respect our flag and if you’re not going to take care of it don’t put it up.
