University of St. Thomas announces dean’s list

Steiner earns honors at Purdue University

Allison Steiner of Hastings has earned academic honors at Purdue University for the spring 2012 semester.

St. Olaf College announces dean’s list

Students from Hastings named to the St. Olaf College spring 2012 semester dean’s list are: Kristi Gangelhoff, a chemistry major who is the daughter of Michael Gangelhoff and Marlys Schmitt; Erin Haglund, a psychology major who is the daughter of John and Marcia Haglund; Jessica Moes, an English major, who is the daughter of John Moes and Jill Moes.

Amble named on Holy Cross dean’s list

Lisa Amble of Hastings, a fourth year student at the College of the Holy Cross, has been named to the dean’s list for the second semester of the 2011-2012 academic year. Amble is majoring in chemistry. She is the daughter of Walter and Nancy Amble.

Augsburg College announces graduates

Augsburg College announced the recent graduation of two Hastings students.

Andrew Fox of Hastings earned an undergraduate degree in religion and medieval studies, and he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Schyler Novak of Hastings earned an undergraduate degree in special education, and he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Tupy receives Presidential Scholarship from UND

Alexis Tupy of Hastings received the Presidential Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2012-2013 academic year. Tupy, the daughter of Diane Malecha-LaPean and Rick Tupy, graduated from Hastings High School and plans to attend the University of North Dakota in the fall.

Bethel University announces dean’s list

The following students from Hastings have been named to the Dean’s List for academic excellence for the spring 2012 semester at Bethel University in St. Paul: Lunden Kelly, the daughter of Steven and Beth Kelly; Lindsey Kleis, the daughter of James and Patty Kleis; Kara Lindsay, the daughter of Shannon Toll. Katie Malszycki, the daughter of Michael and Cynthia Malszycki; Heath Nelson, the son of John Nelson and Reagan Mock-Nelson.

Manke named on Hamline University dean’s list

Lane Manke of Hastings was named to the dean’s list at Hamline University for the spring term of the 2011-2012 academic year.

Duin graduates from Luther College

Seth Duin of Hastings received a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies and music from Luther College recently.
