Fireworks display set for 4th of July
The annual Fourth of July fireworks display is set for dusk (about 10 p.m.) Wednesday, July 4, at the Hastings Country Club. As it has for many years, the Vermillion State Bank is sponsoring the display.

As it has for many years, the Vermillion State Bank is sponsoring the display.
The Fourth of July picnic held for years by the East Side Improvement Association, was not held last year. There has been no effort to revise it this year either, according to association president Harold Christenson.
