CITY OF MIESVILLE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council, acting as the Planning Commission of the City of Miesville, will hold a series of public hearings beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in the Council Chambers located at the Fire Hall. The regular meeting of the City Council will follow the public hearings, which include

the following purposes:

Hearing No. 1: Consider a variance to Ordinance No. 2002-01 Land Subdivision Regulations to waive the platting requirements for and approve a lot reconfiguration of the 0.95 acre 'subject parcel' of land (Dakota County PID 28-01200-60-110), owned by Vendrite Inc. and located at 14655-240th Street East. The lot

reconfiguration includes the subdivision and detachment of two parcels (0.05 acres and 0.32 acres) from the subject parcel to be combined with adjacent properties and the subdivision and detachment of 0.36 acres of property adjacent to the

subject parcel to be combined with the subject parcel. The reconfigured parcel will be 0.94 acres in size. The detachment and attachment of newly created parcels will be done consistent with requirements of Dakota County.

Hearing No. 2: Consider amendments to the Miesville 2030 Comprehensive Plan that re-designate land use categories affected by the lot reconfiguration described in Hearing No. 1. Portions of the 'subject parcel' will be re-designated from Rural Residential to Commercial and Agriculture and property attached to the subject parcel will be re-designated from Agriculture to Commercial.

Hearing No. 3: Consider amendments to the Miesville Zoning Ordinance that

rezone portions of the lot reconfiguration described in Hearing No. 1. Portions of the 'subject parcel' will be rezoned from Rural Residential to Rural Business and Agricultural Preservation and property attached to the subject parcel will be

re-designated from Agricultural Preservation to Rural Business.

All interested parties are urged to attend this hearing or submit written

comments to be read at the hearing.
