Track boys nearly win Park quadrangular

The Hastings boys track team came within one point of winning a quadrangular at Park two weeks ago. The Raiders finished with 76 points, just one behind Park.
Woodbury was third with 70 and Cretin-Derham Hall was fourth with 41.
The girls, meanwhile, placed third with 48 points.
Woodbury won the girls meet with 118 points, Park was second with 58 and Cretin-Derham Hall took fourth with 32.
Boys
The highlight for the boys was the finish in the 3,200-meter run. Zack Benning won the race, Joseph Rabaey was second, Alex Kane was third and Christian Weiland was fourth.
Matthew Woolery won the 800, Kane won the high jump and Wes Evansen won the pole vault.
