Erica Langenfeld, 36

Erica Jane Langenfeld, age 36, of Hastings, passed away May 4 at her home.

She was born in Ames, Iowa, on June 4, 1975, to Jerry and Jane (Karlstad) Langenfeld. Erica's great joy in life was her love of music.

She was preceded in death by her brother Kevin Langenfeld.

Erica is survived by her daughter, Arianna; mother, Jane (Nick) Weiland; father, Jerry (Alice) Langenfeld; sister Wendy (Doug) Fairbanks; brother Scott Langenfeld; sister Amy Langenfeld; nieces and nephews, Jeremiah, Meghan, Alex, Derek, and Connor; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Paris Pasch, will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, May 7, at Christ's Family Church, 518 E. 2nd St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
