Police report preview - April 23 to April 26

• Arson was reported at a shed in the 3200 block of Malcolm Avenue. The fire was reported at approximately 6:03 a.m.

A white male, approximately 20 years old, was standing near the shed.

The owner asked the man what was happening, and the subject then ran from the scene. About $500 in damage was done to the shed. A white Reebok New Orleans Saints baseball cap was found nearby, which may have belonged to the suspect.

• A package delivered by UPS was stolen from the 2500 block of Voyageur Parkway. Inside the package were six pairs of underwear from the Duluth Trading Company, valued at $82.

• A man was threatening others with a hammer in an alley in downtown Hastings. The man had raised the hammer above his head and made threatening statements to those in the area.

He never swung the hammer.

Officers arrested the man for terroristic threats.
