Fire strikes near landscaping company in Hastings

A structure fire burned at least one building on the grounds of a landscaping business along Glendale Road in Hastings on Monday afternoon.
The fire occurred around 5:30 p.m. and produced a pillar of smoke that was visible several miles away. Police barricaded Glendale road at Ravenna Trail on the north and Spiral Boulevard on the south to keep traffic away from the scene.
