Raiders race at Park quadrangular

The Hastings boys and girls track teams competed Thursday at a quadrangular in Cottage Grove. Teams from Park, Tartan and Hudson, Wis., competed.

The Hastings boys and girls track teams competed Thursday at a quadrangular in Cottage Grove. Teams from Park, Tartan and Hudson, Wis., competed.

Boys

The Hastings boys placed third in the four-team meet with 56 points.

Hudson won with 108, Park was second with 72 and Tartan was fourth with 36.

The top Hastings finishes came in the 1600 and the pole vault. In the 1600, Zack Benning won the race, followed by Joe Rabaey.

In the pole vault, Hastings took the top three spots, with Wes Evansen winning the event.

The Hastings girls placed fourth out of four teams with 42 points.

Hudson won the meet with 84. Park was second with 73 and Tartan was third with 66.
