Raiders cruise to win over Park

The Hastings boys tennis team had little trouble beating up on the Park Wolfpack last week. Hastings cruised to a 6-1 win in the Suburban East Conference match-up.
The Raiders swept the four singles spots.
Ben Carlson won at first singles, 6-0, 6-1.
Cody Arndtson won at second singles, 6-2, 6-2.
Zach Mellick won a close match at the third spot, 6-4, 6-3.
At the fourth spot, Alex Zuzek won, 6-0, 6-3.
In doubles, the top team of Ty Mellick and Jalen Sneddeker lost, 6-4, 6-4.
Austin Houska and Craig Nielsen teamed up for a win at second doubles, 6-1, 6-2.
The third team of Ben Klimek and Steve Roach won a three-set match, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
Vs. Mounds View
Hastings was on the other side of a 6-1 score when the team faced off against Mounds View on April 19. The Mustangs swept the three doubles spots.
The lone Hastings win came at first singles, where Carlson cruised, 6-2, 6-1.
Junior varsity
The Hastings boys junior varsity team earned a nice 4-3 win over Northfield on Monday.
Hastings got wins from Lenny Weiss at first singles, Alec Santelman at second singles, Skyler Rawling at third singles and the No. 3 doubles team of Killian Konrady and Jacob Sundheim.
