Hastings woman returns home to inspect work, finds contractor smoking marijuana in her driveway
A Hastings resident had hired a contractor to work in her home along the 1500 block of Meadowview Trail. She stopped at her home at around 9:45 a.m. Monday, April 16, to check on the progress of the work, and when she pulled into her driveway she saw a man in a vehicle.By: Chad Richardson, The Hastings Star-Gazette
A Hastings resident had hired a contractor to work in her home along the 1500 block of Meadowview Trail. She stopped at her home at around 9:45 a.m. Monday, April 16, to check on the progress of the work, and when she pulled into her driveway she saw a man in a vehicle.
She approached the vehicle and saw the occupant smoking marijuana.
She told the man to give her the marijuana, and he did. The woman then got into her vehicle, locked the doors and called police.
A 21-year-old Edina man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and for the possession of a small amount of marijuana inside a motor vehicle.
