Letter: Thanks for supporting ‘Lanes for Life’

To the editor,

Thank you to our family members, friends and all who participated in the “Lanes for Life” fundraiser in memory of our daughter Lauren Marie. The event was held on April 7 at Treasure Island Extreme Bowl and it was a great success, with 95 bowlers joining together to celebrate Lauren’s life. The proceeds of “Lanes for Life” have been given to Children’s Hospital and Foundation with special dedication to the MN SIDS Center for SIDS research in honor of Lauren.

Thank you to those businesses that participated in making the event successful. John and his staff at Extreme Bowl were very accommodating and provided excellent service during the event. Nine Eagles Promotions designed and provided T-shirts with professionalism and exceptional service. Thank you to Lisa Swanson for her guidance, support and beautiful invitations. Thank you to Mary Shepard with Day Brightener Bakery for donating great cookies in the shape of bowling balls and pins. Thank you to all the local businesses and sponsors for your support.

We are blessed with many loving family members, friends, neighbors and a wonderful community that support our cause. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing love and support.
