Lyla Ann Virchow was born on March 16, 2012 at Woodwinds Health Campus to Jebadiah and Samantha Virchow of Hastings. At birth Lyla weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Betty and Scott Virchow of Hastings, John and Peggy Widell of Winstead and Patti Montgomery of River Falls, Wis. Great-grandparents are Larry and Cheryl Schutler of Grafton, Iowa, and Ralf Pokovny of Maplewood.
